Valérie Marais provides both advisory and litigation services in urban planning, development, and all related aspects of public real estate law. She has developed a recognized practice in structuring development and real estate projects.
She primarily assists major private operators (developers, investors, real estate companies) in the development and execution of their real estate projects (offices, high-rise buildings, residential properties, hotels, tourist residences, logistics), leveraging her cross-disciplinary expertise in urban planning law, development law, and public procurement law. In this context, she also handles litigation and disputes and clients on resolving administrative disputes, particularly through settlements.
Her expertise in urban planning law is recognized in professional rankings. She also contributed to the negotiation and drafting of sales agreements (sale agreements, VEFA, deeds of sale), leases (BEFA, BEA), and occupancy agreements. Her dual expertise in both public and private law is a significant asset in negotiations.
Valérie Marais spent ten years at GIDE before becoming a partner in the real estate departments of LACOURTE Balas & Associates, DS Avocats, and GENESIS Avocats. She founded ADEMA Avocats in 2018.
